I once read a book that to this day impacts my life in the most subtle of ways. The book was called “Start with Why” by Simon Sinek. In the book, he introduces three levels of releasing a product. Of course, he started with why.
Why People are a rare breed of people, as he claims, and they do things because they want to solve a major problem or find the next major solution. They do things for the spirit of it; The journey is the End, not the Means.
I have to admit though, that I am not a Why guy, but rather, I am a How Guy through and through. I couldn’t care less about what someone does or why they do it, but if youre going to do something, you better do it right.
This blog is just that for me. I once decided that I was going to be an artist. I understand that in order to be an artist that Id have to show off a portfolio. A blog was the natural choice for me. I love the hours trying to understand how the software works, and curating the blocks to build an experience just my own. Ive built a website for a project Im passionate about and linked it to my blog.
Ive built sites for others. Ive made logos for others. Ive made content for others. If we’re going to shoot for successful transmission of our ideas and passions in this world- we have to understand that the internet is the best chance.
You see, Ive had trouble finding my Why in life, and its lead me to focus on learning the How until I can find it. This blog is my How, and its so much fun. Maybe my Why is just that I love helping others with their How. Talk to me anytime you need help.
Oh, and I have a new Logo!
